How it works, in detail

   What the trail keeps of every action

   The author, the action, the target, the time to the second, and what changed. A decree edit, a GPS validation, a generated export, a login, a period unlock: all of it goes through the same log, in the same format.

   It cannot be cleaned up

   An attempt to delete an audit entry is refused: and the attempt itself is logged. That is the difference between a history and a proof: nobody, the account holder included, can make an inconvenient trace disappear.

   Ready for a visit

   The console filters by person, by action type and by date, and searches in free text. What is on screen exports to Excel or PDF, to be handed over as is to an inspector, an accountant or a lawyer.
