How it works, in detail

The punch is taken where the employee actually is
On the way in and on the way out, the app reads the position and attaches it to the nearest site. A punch taken inside the site perimeter is marked “GPS verified”; a punch taken outside is not refused: it is flagged, and the supervisor decides. Nobody is left stuck at the gate because the signal was poor.

With no signal, it still punches
In a basement, an underground garage or a site outside coverage, the app stores the punch on the device with its time and position, then sends it up as soon as the network returns. The employee has nothing to redo and nothing to jot on paper “in the meantime”.

From the punch to the timesheet, with no re-entry
Every in-out pair becomes a timesheet line attached to the right project, ready for the supervisor to approve. In parallel, the field map shows who is on duty, on which site and since when: the same data, seen two ways.
