How it works, in detail

   A bank is a set of rules, not a spreadsheet column

   Accrual, cap, expiry, how it is paid out: each of those comes from the decree and applies as payrolls go by. The time bank turns overtime into paid leave rather than cash when that is what the agreement provides, and the balance follows the employee.

   Vacation and sick pay follow seniority

   Vacation indemnity is read from a seniority-tier grid with its reference date, and the sick bank opens and closes on the decree's calendar. Moving from one tier to the next happens on its own, on the right date.

   Night shifts carry their own premium

   The night premium stacks and is distinct from overtime: a night shift in overtime carries both. The threshold that triggers it, its rate and its basis are the decree's, not an approximate uplift applied by hand.
