   Copy rather than edit

   The official decree stays read-only and keeps receiving its amendments. Your copy is yours: you add your house premiums, an internal class, a company rule more generous than the legal minimum.

   Your rules on top, never underneath

   A copy is for doing better than the decree, not less: it starts from the official values as a floor. It is the clean way to handle an attendance bonus or a negotiated higher rate without stepping outside the regulatory frame.

   Every version stays, and stays dated

   The history keeps all versions with their effective date and their number of changes. A version in force is never edited in place: a correction creates a rectifying version, which is what lets you replay an old pre-payroll under the rules of the time.
