How it works, in detail

One device, the whole crew
The iPad stays mounted at the entrance, locked on the punch screen. Everyone enters their personal code, punches in or out, and the screen returns to the home view at once: nobody sees anyone else's punch, and nobody can leave the app.

The same rules as everywhere else
A shift punched at the kiosk runs through the same engine as one punched on a phone: applicable decree, overtime thresholds, night premiums, banks. Where the punch came from changes the evidence, never the calculation.

When a personal phone is not an option
Some crews carry no phone at work, some refuse to install a work app on their own device, and some plants ban phones on the production floor. The kiosk answers all three without asking anything of the employee.
