Clic Horaire
Cleaning crew at work in a commercial space: mopping, buckets and window cleaning at the end of the day.

Public building cleaning

Your crews change buildings three times a night. Your pre-payroll still has to be right the first time.

Clic Horaire is built for cleaning companies covered by the CPEEP decree. Every punch captures the building, the time and the work category; the decree applies on its own; the monthly report and the pre-payroll export come out at period end, with nothing compiled by hand.

What it costs you today

The problem is never the cleaning. It's what happens after the shift.

In public building maintenance the margin lives in a few cents an hour. It's rarely the contracts that hurt: it's the admin time, the approximate hours and the retroactive corrections.

Timesheets filled in from memory

The supervisor reconstructs the week on Friday from texts and notes. Nobody is lying: but nobody remembers to the minute, and the gap always falls the same way.

Right employee, wrong building

When three buildings share the same crew on the same evening, an hour booked to the wrong contract distorts both that contract's profitability and what you invoice the client.

Two days lost to the monthly report

Pull the hours, split the categories, recalculate the contributions, fill the form, check it twice. Every month. By someone expensive who would be worth more elsewhere.

The inspector who shows up on a Tuesday

They don't ask for your good faith, they ask for your records. Without timestamped proof of the work actually performed, the conversation starts badly.

These four problems are really one: field data is never captured where it happens. Everything else follows from that.

What we do for you

One entry: the punch. Everything else comes out of it.

The attendant opens their shift from the building they are standing in. From that single data point, Clic Horaire produces the real schedule, qualified pre-payroll, the parity committee report and the inspection evidence: without any of those four being re-entered.

The shift opens on site, not at the office the next morning.
Smiling cleaning attendant holding a duster and a spray bottle in a building she maintains.
Every hour is tied to a building and a work category.
Two window cleaners working from a suspended platform along an office tower.
Height work, evenings, nights: the premium follows the actual hour.

The decree applied at the punch, not at the cheque

Minimum rates by category, overtime, evening and night premiums: the rule applies at the end of the shift, not three weeks later when an employee disputes their pay.

The monthly report, generated

Hours, premiums and contributions consolidated per employee into an .rma file, ready to be encrypted in the .edi format. It isn't an export to rework: it is the report.

A geolocated register per building

Every punch carries its timestamp and its position. The day someone asks you to prove a crew was on site on March 14 at 10:40 p.m., the answer takes ten seconds.

Sick-leave banks that keep themselves

Accrual, use and balance tracked per employee, continuously. No more shared file that three people edit and nobody dares close.

Profitability, contract by contract

Because the hour is tied to the building, you finally know which contract keeps you alive: and which one costs more than it brings in.

The export into your payroll software

Employeur D, Nethris: qualified data goes straight across. No re-entry, so no $300 typo.

Time off and replacements settle before 5 a.m.

The cleaner requests vacation, offers a colleague a swap and declares the evenings they are not available, all from their phone. You approve from one screen: the absence is written into the building's schedule and removes the shifts it covers, which leaves time to find a replacement rather than hunting for one at dawn.

A typical evening

6 p.m. to 2 a.m., seen from the software

Here is what actually happens on a weeknight in a company of 40 attendants spread across 12 buildings.

  1. 6 pm

The crew reaches the first building

Each person opens their shift from their phone. The app confirms position, time and the building served. The supervisor watches 40 attendance records fill in live in the app.

  2. 8 pm

    Two attendants change buildings

They close one shift and open another. The hours split across both contracts automatically: with nobody having to remember it on Friday.

  3. 10 pm

    One absence, one replacement

The swap happens in the schedule, the absent employee's sick-leave bank updates, and the replacement's evening premium applies to the hours actually worked.

  4. 2 am

    The last shift closes

The day is done. Premiums are calculated, contributions accrued, and nothing is waiting on a human review to be correct.

  5. Month end

    The report, in one click

The parity committee file is ready and the pre-payroll export leaves for Employeur D or Nethris. What used to take two days takes less than one.

A fully loaded cleaning cart parked in a public building corridor in the evening.

Nobody filled in a timesheet, nobody recompiled anything, and the proof of all of the above is timestamped and preserved.

The regulatory side

The CPEEP decree, on paper and in the field

The parity committee does more than receive your reports: it also sends inspectors to verify what actually happens inside the buildings. Clic Horaire answers both with the same data.

Mandatory monthly report

The decree requires a monthly report to the parity committee for your territory. Clic Horaire produces it from the shifts actually punched, with no intermediate compiling.

Contributions and retirement plan

Parity committee contributions and group plan contributions calculated on hours paid, every period, with no parallel spreadsheet.

Employee register to be kept

Name, address, nature of the work, hours: the register must exist and stay accessible for years. Yours builds itself, one punch at a time.

Two separate territorial decrees

Montréal and Québec each have their own decree and their own parity committee. You pick your territory at setup: rates and reports follow.

Frequently asked

What cleaning companies ask us first

The questions that come up in almost every demo, with the short answer.

Our attendants change buildings several times a night. How are hours split?

Each shift is tied to a building at the moment of the punch. An attendant serving three buildings in one evening opens and closes three shifts: the hours split across the three contracts automatically, each with its own position and timestamp.

Is the parity committee's monthly report really generated?

Yes. Hours, premiums and contributions are consolidated per employee as the period runs, then produced as an .rma file ready to be encrypted in the .edi format supplied by the committee. There is nothing to recompile between month end and filing.

What if a parity committee inspector shows up?

You pull the register for the building and period in question: who was present, at what time, at what position, and what has been modified since. The audit trail is tamper-evident and keeps the author and moment of every change.

Not all of our employees have a company phone.

The app runs on the employee's own phone, with nothing heavy to install, and a confirmation by the phone itself prevents a colleague from opening someone else's shift. A shared on-site punch station stays possible for an employee with no phone at all.

We already use Employeur D. Do we have to change payroll software?

No, and that's the whole point: Clic Horaire does not run payroll. It prepares qualified data and sends it to your existing software (Employeur D or Nethris today, with more on the way) to remove the re-entry, not your supplier.

How long does it take to start?

Your territory's decree is already modelled: there is no regulatory setup to do. What's left is your employee list, your buildings and your crews: hours of work, not months.
